To those few naysayers of my life (coughGloriacough) who have commented on my success and ambition (or rather lack thereof) I have this to say: I have a loving boyfriend and while we may live in something vaguely resembling poverty, we live. If I can (for the most part) support the two of us on a job that pays as crappily as it does without my parents paying my rent for me (etc etc), that’s enough for me. To the son of an ex-waitress and an ex-cook, that IS success.
